I am a senior in high school, and I am trying to find a good way to balance all of the things in my life. For the past five months, I have gone to school six hours a day five days a week, and then I would go straight to work, and work four and a half to five and a half hours a day, five days a week, with a day off here and there. I would then come home, stressed out and overwhelmed and upset, because I had SO MUCH I still wanted to do, and by that point it was six, to seven o’clock. Also mind you, my body likes to go to bed by ten o’clock, or I am not a fun person to be around the next day. I didnt have time for all of the personal projects I was working on, and wanted to take on. I knew something needed to change, because I was extremely unhappy. I went through a period of time, where I was ultimately ready to quit my job. I have a co-worker that I don’t get along well with, and there was a situation upon which she crossed the line, and I was done. But before I decided to go straight to my boss, I thought it through after I calmed down, and decided that if I quit, I would have to get a new job, and that would be more stressful, having to re-train, and start from scratch. I did some serious soul searching, and decided, instead of quitting, I was going to take two days off a week, so that I can schedule “work” days for my personal projects like my blog, and my youtube channel.
Now that I have time off, I have time to start cracking down, and getting to work! If you already have seen my instagram post with my new posting schedule, then this is not new news to you, but if you haven’t seen it, here is my new posting schedule!

This may change, as I get settled in to my new schedule and can fully decide how much time I need to spend on what to get everything done. If I have spare time, there may be another blog post day, or I might just randomly post some blog posts here and there.
With my new spare time, here are some of the goals that I am going to start working towards, or doing:
- Monthly plan with me videos or blog posts (let me know in the comments which one you prefer)
- Daily Yoga
- Read (at least) 24 books this year, I am currently reading my fourth book this year.
- Meditate (at least) 3-4x per week
- Stick to my weekly posting schedule
- Make sure to have quality content, less often, rather than bad content, more often.
- Come up with good, steady morning and night time routines
- Meet other bloggers/ you tubers to learn from
- Meet my readers/ subscribers
- Find a self care plan to stick to
- Learn something new every day
- Get really into my bullet journal
I have a lot of other goals, but these are a few of my favorites.
